WordVolt lets you play the free daily without forcing an account.
When you choose to sign in, enable daily alerts, or use synced
features, this page explains what is stored, what is synced, and
what control you have.
On-device data
WordVolt stores tutorial state, settings, local bests, local
daily progress, streak history, cached leaderboard data, cached
premium status, queued sync items, and cached shared challenges.
This device-local data helps the app remember your progress and
preferences. Clearing user data in the app or removing the app
can remove that local information.
If you turn on Daily Game Alerts, WordVolt also
stores that preference on-device and schedules local
notifications. Those alerts are optional and can be turned off at
any time.
Linked account data
If you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, WordVolt can sync
the data needed for leaderboard placement, saved progress,
streaks, Premium restore, archive history, and friends.
That may include your provider user id, display name, email
address when shared by the provider, friend code, friendship
records, puzzle ids, score, completion time, longest word length,
and result snapshots.
Analytics and diagnostics
When analytics is enabled, WordVolt can send usage, performance,
and error events such as screen loads, feature taps, purchase
flow state, sync health, and crash diagnostics.
Analytics can be disabled from the in-app Settings screen. We use
this information to improve stability, tune gameplay flow, and
understand which parts of the app are actually helping players.
Shared links
When you share a challenge or friend invite, WordVolt creates a
link that points to the same board or friend code. The link is
then handled by the app or service you choose to send it through.
Third-party services
WordVolt uses hosted web infrastructure for the public site and
link landing pages, a backend provider for accounts and synced
gameplay data, Firebase Analytics for optional diagnostics, and
Apple App Store or Google Play for Premium subscriptions.
WordVolt does not sell your data and does not run third-party ads.
Your choices
You can clear device-local data inside the app, turn analytics
off from Settings, or request deletion of a linked account.
Questions about privacy or linked-account deletion can be sent to
support@rainbladestudios.com
.
Device-local data can be cleared in-app with
Clear User Data. Linked cloud accounts can be
deleted in-app or from the
Account and Data Deletion page.
